Jordan Barowitz oversees government and media relations as well as corporate giving. He oversaw the public affairs of the construction and opening of the 2.1 million square foot One Bryant Park, the first LEED Platinum skyscraper ever built. He helped win the proposal for One World Trade Center and manages the company’s government affairs and public relations for the Western Hemisphere’s tallest building. Working with our project team, he successfully won the zoning changes for VIA 57 WEST, a 709-unit residential rental tower. Jordan is a former First Deputy Press Secretary for New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg.
He is an Executive Board Member of GrowNYC, a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Brooklyn Public Library, a Steering Committee Member of the Association for A Better New York (ABNY) and The Durst Organization’s representative to the Grand Central Partnership, Times Square Alliance and Bryant Park Corporation as well as a member of the CLS BID.
Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College.
